Sacred Pepper opened in North Tampa and the DeBartolo Family Foundation presented the “Spirit of Humanity Award”
Owner Candy DeBartolo, General Manager Chad Bash and Interior Designer Enrique Crespo hosted a media tour prior to “Charity Night” at Sacred Pepper, DeBartolo Holdings’ new restaurant concept opening in North Tampa. During Charity Night, Lisa DeBartolo, executive vice president at DeBartolo Holdings, presented a local organization, Troop Rewards, with the DeBartolo Family Foundation’s Spirit of Humanity Award, which honors non-profit corporations that provide extraordinary assistance to Tampa Bay residents with special needs.
Inspired by West Coast ambiance and love of sharing meals with others, Candy DeBartolo created Sacred Pepper, offering delicious bold twists on old favorites in an atmosphere that invites sharing and conversation.
DeBartolo collaberated with award winning Tampa-based Interior Designer, Enrique Crespo of Crespo Design Group, to create a space promoting socializing and community, in a polished and sophisticated environment.
Prior to the grand opening to the public on April 19, Candy hosted a few pre-grand opening parties to share with area media, friends and family. Guests enjoyed signature cocktails at the beautiful bar, tasty bites such as Sacred Meatballs, and then sat down for a spectacular dinner with dishes of Short Rib Cavatelli, Sea Bass, and dessert featuring DIY sundaes.
