The Game is on in Tampa Bay Well Scenesters, it's almost here. The Big Game in Tampa. And B Scene has got you covered from every angle! Be looking for our picks online, and watch for coverage of some of the biggest parties in town including a little taste of Diddy and Deion. We have some philanthropic endeavors to highlight, and one of which I presented personally so B Scene was literally--the Scene! So here we go with some hot times in the city... Arnstein & Lehr's Tampa office hosted the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Suncoast Chapter (LLS) at their offices to launch "Team Arnstein" their walking team for this year's Light the Night Walk. It was a wonderful event at which the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's 2008 Girl of the Year, Samantha Lee, and 2008 Woman of the Year, me, Brooke Palmer, both attended with members of the LLS team to tell their inspiring stories. Attorneys and staff presented the LLS with a $5,000 check to sponsor the event. Ian Beckles Blue and White party gets bigger every year and this year, was no exception, with more than 400 revelers out to support the Children's Cancer Center. Beckles, along with Shannon Hannon Olivero of the CCC, outdid themselves at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with one kicking party. DJ Marc Vane, Red Bull's go to DJ out of Miami, kept the crowd on its toes while Stu of 95.7 the Beat energized the fashion show by Reborn Couture's Nevada Vanderford. Dioner Navarro of the Rays, Jesse Litsch of the Toronto Blue Jays, and MTV's Enigma Dance Kru all were on hand to support. Every table was full and our cups runneth over at the TABLE Restaurant grand-reopening. Michael Stewart does it again with TABLE in Downtown St. Petersburg. Serving up wine, sangria, some really amazing ceviche and good friends, TABLE left little to be desired. The South Tampa social scene was in full-force and mingled with the cool kids of Downtown St. Pete. B Scene staples were seen every where including TABLE owners Lindsey and Michael Stewart, General Manager Joe Molneado, Enrique Crespo, Susan Guidi, Amy Miller, Dave Thompson, Lee Mezrah, along with his parents Leon and Diane Mezrah, Stephanie Steele and Tim Watson. Check out TABLE. You won't be disappointed -- great food, great wine and great night life. Now for the Super weekend...here are some tips on some hot events around town...check out The Good Life experience at The Venue, www.goodlifeexperience.com. Hosted by Diddy, Deion Sanders, and Winky Wright, this will be THE three nights of an "experience" you won't want to miss! Over at Jackson's, Leather and Laces, a big weekend staple, will be held on Friday night featuring Carmen Electra, Jenny McCarthy, and Kim Kardashian, with Saturday night featuring Benji Madden. Other parties are popping up but consider these B SCENE endorsed. These will be the hot tickets in town. See you on the Red Carpet. Now get out there and B Scene! --Brooke Palmer |
