GETTING 'GREENER' IN 2008

earth globe

After the millions of New Year’s resolutions the world has made, why not make go green the top resolution in ‘08, and unlike most, actually keep it. A go green campaign offers ways not just to improve the planet, but also our health, and us. Melanie Beverly an interior designer and owner of b green consulting decided to go green two and a half years ago due to health reasons, and since has changed her life and her business.

“We evaluate our clients’ homes and determine what level of green works for their lifestyle,” said Beverly. “If the client is concerned about their children, we analyze the clothes, food products, how food is stored, bedding and cleaning products. With infants crawling around on the floor all the time, it’s important to have healthy cleaning products.” Beverly mainly stresses education, “The more knowledge you have the easier
it is to make the transformation.”
