2011 FARA Energy Ball

The third annual FARA Energy Ball brought out a crowd of over 800 and was a huge success raising over $1 million to find the cure for Friedreich’s Ataxia. Ball founders Paul & Suzanne Avery along with honorary chair Lightning’s Tod Leiweke welcomed guests. USF’s President Judy Genshaft, Dr. Steve Klasko, Dr. Gouch and Dr. Zesiewicz were in attendance to support the cause. Tom & Lauren Pepin donated a puppy for the live auction which Dr. Jon Redd was the lucky bidder of the yellow Labrador. The evening ended with a concert by the Gin Blossoms. Tampa Bay Metro Magazine was the official magazine sponsor of the event.
