If travel plans call for a trip to Atlanta, be sure to plan a visit to the High Museum of Art for the latest exhibit, Inspiring Impressionism. The touring exhibit sponsored by Northern Trust will remain at the High Museum through Jan. 13. The show will then travel to the Denver Art Museum and onto the Seattle Art Museum. The exhibit features over 85 works of art from more than 40 museums and private collections from around the world, some pieces never before shown in the United States. “We wanted to find a way to highlight great examples of museums and private collectors partnering together,” said Dan Honegger, president of Northern Trust, Tampa Bay Region. “The collection will give the public the opportunity to be exposed to the great works of a genre and the masters.”

Artists include Monet, Cezanne and Degas are shown along with works by Titian, Rubens and Fragonard. “It is an original exhibition like no other in the world and credit goes to the three museums for their vision and remarkable efforts,” said Honegger.
